About us

Purchased in 1985 our first car was a 1974 1300 Beetle purchased at the tender age of 18. It was converted it to Baja Bug. It had a state of the art CD changer complete with various speakers, tweeters and sub woofers. Now all you need is a docking lead!

I still own that car.

Through the years between us we have owned a variety of beetles, buses and type 3’s. Back in 2006 I purchased ’64 Splitty in California. Imported it back to the UK and fully restored it to a standard that won us Best Type 2 at Cornwall Jamboree. This included a matching teardrop trailer that we purpose built from scratch.

Recent projects have included a Meyers Manx Beach Buggy with real cowhide custom made interior. This also won best buggy at the Cornwall Jamboree the following year.

Early in 2014 we started the Lil’ Devil and it was finished the 7 months later in time to take it to Le Bug Show at Spa Francorchamps Belgium where it won a Top 20 Eye Catcher award. It was also raced on the 1/8th mile strip for the first time

We have several on-going projects including another 57’ Beetle, High top Camper and a couple of square backs waiting in the wings.
